Early Life and the Start of an Artistic Career
Elin-Margareta Nordin was born on 22 October 1986 in Eskilstuna, Sweden, Södermanlands län. From an early age she had a strong passion for performance and storytelling. She started her career in the entertainment industry at the start of her teenage years working in theater, commercials and television.Those early experiences allowed Elin-Margareta to sharpen her skills both on stage and in front of the camera. Her dedication to acting eventually led to international experiences, where she was able to explore the creative world outside of Sweden.
Hollywood: Learn About and Experience
She had not confined her ambitions to her home country and spent a year at Santa Monica College in Los Angeles. Her home in the heart of the American entertainment industry gave her a great deal of exposure to Hollywood and the many creative environments that exist there.She finally returned to Sweden, but her time in Los Angeles had a lasting effect. Hollywood was still a big part of her dreams and she has continued to visit the city, leaving the door open to moving back at some point in the future.
The Birth of Bohemia
The short movie The Bohemian was one of the important early projects in Elin-Margareta Nordin’s filmmaking journey. The project was made in Stockholm with her friend, the filmmaker Linda Sjöberg.The two filmmakers became friends when they worked together on the theater production Spritfesten (The Alcohol Party) from 2008 to 2010. Eventually their creative collaboration became a film-making partnership. The Bohemian, a silent film, was released in 2009 and was an important milestone in Elin-Margareta’s expanding career.
Expanding Her Career as Actress and Filmmaker
Following The Bohemian, Elin-Margareta continued to broaden her creative range. She has worked in acting, performance, editing, directing, and in films, television series, and theater.She has not been one to stick to one role in the entertainment industry, but has explored many sides of production. A Creative Chapter in London
Elin-Margareta lived and worked in London, United Kingdom 2010–2018. Her years in London marked another important chapter of her international career, offering opportunities to work on a variety of notable productions.During this time she has worked on projects such as Call the Midwife, Holby City, Angels of Brick Lane, The Ritual, Me, Myself and I, and Toy Box Killers, alongside numerous other films, theater productions and television projects.

Collaborating with Mark Denham
In 2017, Elin-Margareta started collaborating with director, producer and writer Mark Denham on his short film Love and Warheads. Their professional collaboration evolved into a long-term creative partnership.Since then the duo have worked on a number of projects together including The Ritual, Toy Box Killers, El Cucuy, Sibling Rivalry, The Untitled Show: The Interview, After Claire’s Funeral, Lonely and Insane and Lonely.
These collaborations show Elin-Margareta’s continued passion for independent film and her readiness to take on different creative challenges.
Music Video Production & Creative Editing
Elin-Margareta is also talented in producing music videos. She also filmed and edited the 2018 Secrets by Summer music video for musicians Claire Hamill and Andrew Warren.Her artistic skills extend to filming and editing as well, which is another aspect of her art. Through these projects she continues to combine visual storytelling with performance and production skills.
E-MN’s The Untitled Show
Outside of traditional acting and filmmaking, Elin-Margareta Nordin has also found another creative outlet in her podcast, The Untitled Show by E-MN.The podcast delves into cold cases, ghosts, and the unknown. The show, which is distributed through SoundCloud and Spotify, is a reflection of her fascination with mysterious stories and unexplained topics while providing her with yet another outlet to speak with an audience.
Elin-Margareta has made the podcast as a way to move beyond traditional entertainment platforms and tell stories through sound.
A New Age of Fashion and Modeling
Most recently Elin-Margareta has added modeling to her creative career. She started modeling for the Spanish designer Saretha Moda, adding fashion and visual presentation to her growing list of professional pursuits.She has added modeling to a varied artistic career. How to Craft The Frenzied Quill
One of Elin-Margareta Nordin’s most ambitious recent projects is the horror TV series The Frenzied Quill. She has been co-writing the series with writer and journalist Paul Bagnell.The Frenzied Quill is a huge project, and one that Elin-Margareta is very proud of. The series has already been recognized, winning an Honorable Mention at the Season 4 of the Filmshort Creative Award.
This accomplishment represents a major milestone in her journey as a writer and storyteller and shows that her creative ambitions stretch far beyond acting and performing.
Received at Nez International Film Festival
Elin-Margareta’s achievements have also been acknowledged at film festivals. This year she won the Golden Bridge Recognition Award at the Nez International Film Festival.
